Opportunities for Public-Private Partnership in Brownfield Redevelopment

Shaun Gately is the Director of Development Services for the Town of Vernon CT, and has been there since 2011. Shaun has an MS in Organizational Leadership and has extensive experience in business development, government operations, client retention, land use, sales, real estate, finance, management and Economic Development. This experience comes from his past professional careers which includes retirement from the CT Department of Correction, owning and operating a real estate brokerage, and serving as the regional manager for a commercial service company. In his current role Shaun has successfully applied for and overseen the implementation in over $15 million in grant funding and shepherded several hundred million in development projects.

John Gumpert is the founder and President of Camden Management Partners, Inc. Camden is a developer of a wide range of multifamily developments including the historic redevelopment of large industrial historic properties into residential projects. Camden has been instrumental in the development of over 1 billion in real estate projects and currently has approximately $350 million in historic redevelopments in process.
